FAQs

How much do videos cost?

This really depends on the specific needs of any given project; the work I do is so varied, that a one-size-fits-all price isn’t always practical (or fair) for every client.

Please do get in touch, let me know what you’re thinking and I'll gladly send a quote over in good time. Rest assured, it’ll be competitive, reasonable and carefully considered.

I also offer discounts to registered charities.

What kind of videos do you make?

The majority of my work is promotional, events and documentary projects for online and social media use, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg...

I strive to make videos that stand out from all the other information clamouring for our attention online; something unique and tailored to your needs. How? By quickly getting to the heart of what you want the film to achieve, and focusing on how it makes the viewer feel.

Nip over to the services page for a full breakdown, or browse projects for more of a flavour.

How quickly are films completed?

Usually, quite quickly!

It obviously depends on the scale and style of the project but as a ballpark, the majority of projects require a few weeks, with fast-turnaround options available that only take a few days.

I do get booked up, so please give us a heads-up ASAP if you require specific shooting dates or a tight turnaround. More than happy to try and accommodate and adapt to your timescale and needs.

Do you have any specialities?

I’ve got a knack for creative, impactful editing and blending footage in a meaningful way that is engaging and stands out (ideal for promotional videos and highlight reels).

With many years experience working within marketing teams comes an understanding of the market; what does/doesn’t work, pitfalls and opportunities.

If you’ve seen a video you like and want your own version, I can mimic the style and tailor specifically to suit you and your business.

Do you work alone, or travel far?

Over the years, I’ve built up a small, reliable team of trusted freelancers that I can call upon for larger projects should the need arise, but usually I helm the whole production from script to screen.

Every project is a collaboration with the client, so I'm never really working alone!

I travel nationwide for shoots; exploring new places is a huge perk of the job. More then happy to discuss travel further afield too!

How do you typically work?

I think of it as a collaboration, with both parties working together towards the best result. You may already have it all mapped out, or you may have no idea where to start with video; I can help wherever you’re at.

By default, I’ll provide a little guidance on what kind of video would work best for your needs.

It’s also about capitalising on what you have available; got some swish modern offices? Let’s film it! Got a great, enthusiastic team? Let’s interview them! Got a load of old footage archived? Let’s re-purpose it, and work together to make the best video possible.
